The Water Pebble from Priestmangoode Design is an ingenious little gadget to help indicate just how much tap water you’re consuming.
Household water conservation has a double environmental benefit: Consuming less water lessens stress on water sources like rivers and aquifers, and reduces the amount of wastewater that municipal sewage treatment plants need to process. And it’s often just a matter of being aware of exactly how much water we’re actually using – which is where the Water Pebble from Priestmangoode Design comes in.
The little white disc sits in your tub or sink, and indicates just how much water is (literally) going down the drain. LED indicators progress from green to yellow to red, giving a quick and clear reminder when it’s time to turn off the tap.
