Lechuza Self Watering Planters & Flower Pots

Potted plants aren’t merely attractive – they can be a great source of homegrown fruits and vegetables, and many species actually filter the air to improve indoor air quality. Lechuza’s new line of flower pots and planters integrates an ingenious self-watering design to make maintaining your household plants even easier.

A water reservoir in the base of the planter is covered in a layer of “Lechuza-Pon” granules (a proprietary blend of minerals that release nutrients over time), then layered with normal potting soil. The Lechuza sub-irrigation system keeps greenery fully watered with minimal evaporation, which means wasting less water. The system also helps keep your plants healthy when you’re traveling – or if you just forget to water them.

Lechuza Self-Watering Planters are constructed of high-quality, 100% recyclable plastics, and they are available in a wide range of sizes, styles, and finishes. Some models offer removable liners to make replanting simple, and wheeled bases are available for planters that need to be moved.
