Goal Zero Yeti 150: Midsize Solar Generator & Charger

Just unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show, the Goal Zero Yeti 150 is a solar generator to keep bigger devices like laptops powered up off the grid. It’s a portable all-in-one design that emits no exhaust fumes, unlike gasoline or diesel generators.

Small solar chargers like the Solio Classic 2 are great for small gadgets like mobile phones. And the 150′s big brother, the Yeti 1250, is a beast that can power a full size refrigerator for days. But the Goal Zero Yeti 150 is a perfect compromise: it packs enough juice to charge two laptop computers or 6 iPads, but the 12-pound Yeti 150 is still completely portable (it even has a built-in pop-up handle).
