Durat: Recycled Solid Surface Counters, Sinks, Baths

Produced in Finland, Durat is a polyester based solid surface material. It contains roughly 30% recycled post-industrial waste, and is itself 100% recyclable. Durat is extremely durable and resistant to many common chemicals; any surface scuffs can be removed with an light sanding, and the material can be cut and shaped with standard woodworking tools.

Durat is available in dozens of colors, and granulated particles in the material provide its distinctive appearance and texture. The material is available in sheets for surfaces like countertops (standard size is 2900x800x12mm); Durat also produces fixtures like sinks and bathtubs, and fabricates custom fixtures as well.
